The quality of our stainless steel repair clamps is beyond doubt, as each repair clamp is fully pickled and passivated after welding for the best corrosion resistance. The rubber seal is vulcanized into the spanner plate and has a fine-meshed waffle structure with rounded tops for optimal sealing. Additionally, our AVK factory in Vaassen (NL), where the repair clamps are produced, is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and has achieved level 4 on the CSR Performance Ladder. Finally, the AVK repair clamps have various product and material approvals, including KIWA according to BRL-K777.

How does the repair clamp work?

A pre-bent stainless steel plate with welded wire ends, nuts and bolts is clamped around the pipe. The inside of the clamp has a rubber seal with a waffle structure with special round tops. The torque generated by tightening the nuts is converted into a radial pressure of the rubber seal on the outside of the pipe, ensuring an optimal circumferential seal.

The AVK repair box is an easy, quick and flexible solution for emergency repairs of damaged pipes. By combining the various stainless steel repair elements, you can assemble the required repair clamp yourself for the emergency repair. You can order the used elements from us to complete the repair box again. The repair box consists of 6 or 10 stainless steel elements that can bridge a range of 86 mm to 1475 mm, simply by connecting the elements.
