AVK Industrial Nederland has successfully supplied several knife gate valves and couplings for a sewage application in a new chemical installation in Rotterdam Europoort.
The scope exists of: Knife Gate Valves in sizes DN150 till DN600 equipped with D/A pneumatic Actuators with manual override manufactured by CYL Spain (part of AVK group), Controls : Fail close system via back up air tank per valve with controls and/or limit Switches, Positioners 4-20m all engineered, supplied and installed by Spacx Actuators & Controls. The installation of the valves was managed by Poorthuis Industrial Services. All valves were functionally tested before being delivered to the customer.
