Recently we have produced a nice batch of 17 Repico® SD(F) couplings in the range of DN500-DN1000.
The Repico® SD Slip type couplings with two locks are installed by skilled engineers of contractor OPS in a flowmeter test facility at the ETAP Majadahonda water treatment plant in the community of Madrid. Property of the Water Company Canal de Isabel II, Madrid. The test bench is installed on the tank with the main objective of measuring the error of the flowmeters, to improve the transport and supply of water in the supply network. The project is a boost in the transition to greener and more digital technologies that will contribute to fulfilling the European ambition to achieve a greener planet.
The engineers of OPS were pleased to install the Repico® couplings, while they experienced how easy the installation was.
The Repico® couplings are fully executed in stainless steel AISI316L, provided with EPDM gasket and suitable for 10 bar applications.
