SDG Action Day For a better & sustainable world for everyone
On Monday, September 25, 2023, the 'SDG anniversary' was celebrated worldwide. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are seventeen goals to make the world a better place by 2030. 25-09-2023
AVK Nederland BV also shows today that it stands behind this sustainable movement and for a better world for everyone. Our products are part of vital infrastructures, including water and gas supply, wastewater treatment, firefighting and various industrial applications. Our goal is therefore to develop and produce products of high quality and with a long service life. In our organization, continuous attention is paid to minimizing our raw material consumption, more sustainable alternatives, vitality, and safety of the employees.
Since 2022, AVK Nederland BV has been certified according to CSR Performance Ladder Level 4. In the coming financial year, we will give extra attention to four CSR themes (Fair business practices, Circular economy, Good employment practices and Involvement in and development of society) and with these themes AVK Nederland BV contributes to the following SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the United Nations.
