Gate valve for installation as by-pass on large series 06
AVK series 126 is a small gate valve specially designed to be installed in parallel with a larger gate valve. As gate valve size increases the water pressure force on the wedge can become so large that the operation of the valve becomes difficult to manage with ordinary means. To reduce these forces a by pass valve can be installed to release the pressure difference and ease the operation. AVK series 126 is designed to be installed on AVK series 06, DN700-1000.

Features
- A fixed, integral wedge nut keeps the wedge steady and makes sure it cannot vibrate or rattle
- Fully vulcanized wedge with guide rails and polyamide wedge shoes ensure effortless opening and closing
- A large conical stem hole in the wedge creates circulation and prevents stagnant water
- Three independent stem seals: outermost an NBR wiper ring protects against pollution from the environment, next the polyamide radial bearing incorporates two NBR O-rings and innermost an EPDM lip seal is the main hydraulic seal to the flow
- Brass collar thrust bearing for low friction stem movement
- Round EPDM bonnet gasket fixed in a recess to prevent blow-out
- Counterbored stainless steel bonnet bolts encircled by the bonnet gasket and sealed with hot melt glue
- Full bore
- Epoxy coating to DIN 3476-1 and EN 14901, GSK approved
