Control ball valve variTEC
TEC artec’s control ball valves are available in 3 design versions:
- Artec-N for high temperature applications >200°C
- VariTEC and artec P for “cold applications <200°C
All of them have a 3-piece body design and a trunnion mounted ball design in common.
Media: gas, oil, water, brine, lime, sludge, ash, steam, and others
By its design with overlapping metallic seat, it provides a long-lasting leak tightness and therefore is ideally suited for heavy–duty applications like cavitation & erosion service. The straight flow through the control disc(s) guarantees low noise emissions, low turbulence at the valve outlet and a flow profile which keeps the critical conditions from the pipe wall.
Its strong design provides highest availability & long operational lifetime.
The control performance with possible turn-down ratio of more 50:1 is at least equal to the performance of high-quality stroke-type or axial type control valves.
